Watercolors

One distinctive aspect of the Autistic experience is immediate pattern recognition. This ability reveals itself in daily interactions, where patterns encompass complex temporal interactions and allow for multiple interpretations at once. Colors are perceived as physical vibrations and frequencies, while various energies, such as sound, are also experienced physically by the body. These paintings are painted directly, without a prelimnary drawing, encouraging the paint to the paint to be itself.  Creating a Plein Air, live without a net experience. They are as much about an interaction with the vibrations of frequencies as much as they are about engaging Autistic experiences.
